Vocal Range Test: Find Your Vocal Range
Sing your lowest comfortable note, then your highest. See your range on a piano.
Allow microphone access when asked. Your audio stays in your browser.
How to take the test
Start in a quiet room. Hold the control while singing your lowest comfortable note, steady the sound, then release. Repeat with your highest comfortable note. No extra “next” confirmation is needed.
What this test can and can't tell you
We show notes captured in this session, not the limits of your voice. A stable ending must last at least 0.7 seconds with no more than 35 cents of pitch spread. Short sounds, noise and sliding notes are not saved.
These two notes cannot determine your voice type, register, tone or vocal health. The detector covers roughly C2–C6; pitches outside its reliable range are not measured. Do not push higher or lower to get a bigger result.
Frequently asked questions
Why did my note not save?
Keep a comfortable note steady for about one second before releasing. Very quiet sound, noise, sliding or interrupted input cannot establish a stable endpoint.
Does this tell me my voice type?
No. Your highest and lowest notes alone do not establish a voice type. This is a visual measurement of this session, not a vocal diagnosis.
Is my voice uploaded?
No. Microphone audio is processed locally and is not recorded or uploaded by this test.
