Is this a voice tuner or a pitch detector?
The Pitch practice section is a pitch detector: it shows the pitch it can hear, without changing the sound. If you need a voice tuner to correct or retune a recording, this app does not do that. Use it to observe your voice and practice matching a target yourself.
How is this different from AI voice training with a teacher?
AI Voice Coach offers self-guided exercises with local pitch detection. AI voice training can mean many different things; here it means pitch practice, not personalized lessons, speech coaching, voice cloning, or a full vocal assessment.

Is this a singing test or a singing rater?
It is a focused pitch practice tool, not a comprehensive singing test or singing rater. The feedback covers only the pitch evidence captured during the current exercise. A low score in a game means fewer pitch gates were hit, not that someone is a bad singer.
Do I need to upload a song?
No. Use the supplied song or short pitch exercises, then sing into your microphone. The app does not support uploading your own song for evaluation. It does not publish your recordings or store an online recording library.
Is this a personalized AI voice teacher?
No. The coach provides self-guided pitch practice and local real-time detection. It does not create a personalized curriculum, diagnose vocal issues, replace a singing teacher, or give medical advice.
Why does the app say No reliable pitch yet?
That message means the browser has not found a stable pitched sound that is clear enough to use. Silence, speech, background noise, a very short sound, or singing too far from the microphone can all leave the pitch undetermined. Volume alone never counts as a correct note.
Is AI Voice Coach free and private?
These tools are free to use without an account, ads, or payment. Microphone analysis runs locally. Song practice keeps a temporary local recording for replay; your audio is not uploaded. Unlocked game levels may be saved only in the current browser.
