Choose one pitch skill to practise
Short melody
Hear a short phrase, then echo it at your own pace. Feedback compares reliable note regions in order. The reference graph uses note order; your voice uses elapsed time. These are separate axes, so this exercise does not score rhythm or timing.
Single note
Listen to one target and hold an easy vowel or hum. Watch whether your reliable pitch is below, near, or above the target. Match its pitch, not its loudness, and choose a comfortable note rather than forcing your voice.
Long note
Start with a comfortable sustained sound and watch the pitch path. This mode is for observing movement, not a scored stability test. Natural variation does not by itself identify a vocal problem.
What pitch feedback can tell you
Use reliable pitch feedback to pick one small thing to repeat. It is not an overall singing rating, a diagnosis, or an assessment of tone, expression, diction, breath technique, or vocal health. Stop if singing feels uncomfortable.

Pitch practice questions
How do I start a short melody or single-note exercise?
Listen to the example all the way through. The same main button then changes to Start singing. Allow microphone access if asked, sing a comfortable vowel or hum, and finish when you are ready. Changing the melody means listening to the new example first. Long note can start without an example.
Why is there a gap in my pitch line?
The detector could not find a clear musical pitch in that part of the sound. Background noise, speech, very quiet sound, or a short note can cause gaps. A gap is not proof that you missed a note. Try a steady vowel at a comfortable volume in a quiet room.
Does pitch practice record or upload my voice?
These pitch exercises analyze live microphone audio in this browser without saving or uploading a recording. Leaving the page stops the microphone. Song practice is different: it keeps a temporary recording locally so you can listen back.
